If you're having problems running the game, maybe the following information could be of some use...

Problem: I hear sound, but the screen's pitch black!
Cause: Out Of Order has tried to run at the best screen refresh rate your video card claimed it can run at... but it turns out your video card actually can't cope.
Solution: Run the "OOO Display Setup" utility (in the Out Of Order directory and in "Programs" > "Out Of Order" > "OOO Display Setup" in your Windows Start Menu). Pick your own refresh rate, save your choice by pressing "OK", close the program and try running the game again. If none of the settings seem to work, you can also choose to run the game in a window.

Problem: I see the game... but I don't hear it!
Cause: Some program has tied up your machine's sound card and not freed it up.
Solution: If there's another program running which is using your sound card, try quitting it. If the card is still not available to Out Of Order, try restarting Windows and running Out Of Order before any other applications.

Problem: I see and hear the game... but don't hear any recorded speech!
Cause: There is no recorded speech. This is a free game made by one person, you fool!
Solution: Read everything you see on the screen out loud. Or perhaps get someone else to, possibly standing behind a tall piece of furniture so that you don't see them.
